After long hours of school, Jacob, Matthew, Max, Sam, Jack, Tina, Rachael, Jane and Tiffany all crowded around me, demanding a explanation.
"Hey, give my girl some space." Jacob demanded and the others immediately took a step back. I'm amazed by his effect. He's good.
"Well?" Tina questioned.
"We're friends."
"What?!" Tiffany screamed.
"She's sorry and she had apologised. I don't mind being friends with her."
"But she's still a slut." Jane said.
"So what we did this morning was it a good act?" Sam asked childishly.
"Well that was too much though."
"Enough said, let's go crush at the sisters' place since my girl is still grounded." Jacob shouted and everyone agreed.
I thought i could share this good news to Diana but she's absent today.
******** Diana Jackson's Point Of View ********
"Diana, how are you?"
"I'm good."
"Is that what your attitude should be when you're visiting your dad in prison now?"
"What attitude did you expect me to use to you?"
"Well that's a rough mean attitude."
"Too bad, be glad that i'm willing to skip school to visit you."
"How's school?"
"None of your business."
"Whoa, how's Tess doing?"
"What? You actually care for her? You almost took away her innocence that night and you have the cheek to talk about her?"
"Well, you can't say that i don't care. She's a pretty hot chick. That night you should have spiked her drink more so that she wouldn't be awake so quickly."
"Stop that! You're a serial rapist when drunk. You're not fit to be my father. You raped each friend of mine that i brought home for a stay over. You even molested your female colleagues until you're fired. You are such a sicko, don't ever expect me to visit you again. Serve you right for having life imprisonment. You should be glad that Mom wasn't one of your victims. I'm glad that she left with someone who she could entrust her happiness. I'm ashamed of being your daughter. Goodbye daddy, you've changed. You made my life terrible in school. This is the last time i'm here to see you." I left.
Yes, Tess Agnes. The slut, my ex-best friend. She was having a sleepover one night when my dad threatened me to drug her. She almost got raped by my father when she was awoke suddenly. She hated me since that night. That night changed both mine and her destiny. She became a slut wearing lesser clothing while i was bullied by her and her gang often. I called the police to arrest my dad. I protected Tess by not revealing her incident. Ever since, we're no longer best friend.
I walked out of the prison and checked my phone, only to realised that my Twitter news feed have been flooded with news about Alice and Tess being friends. How can this happen? I already lost Tess, i can't let her snatch my only friend away. I gotta do something to warn her. Suddenly, i thought of something. Yes, her pain, her agony. Tess Agnes, you forced me to rip your hurt from the past out. You can't blame me. You should have known how much i have suffered these years under your authority and now you have the guts to snatch my only friend away. Watch out.
******** Alice Stephanie's Point Of View ********
They were all having party in our house when i received a text from Tess asking if we want to go over her house to play games. Since her house was bigger than ours, we didn't reject. Besides, we're gonna be best friend.
When we arrived, her house was dark. However her door was left ajar. We felt that something was wrong and entered her house. Then minutes later, her shrills could be heard coming from a room which we supposed was hers. I was the first to rush up, only to find a tall and muscular guy above her. He pinned her on her bed and attempted to rip her clothes off when i immediately rushed over and pushed him off. Jacob and the guys pinned him down on the floor while i took her blanket to cover her. Another girl who was holding onto a video camera tried to escape when Tina, Rachael, Jane and Tiffany blocked the door. I walked cautiously towards the girl who still tried to hid her face from us while Jack dialled for the police.
"Diana! What are you doing here?"
"I... i was..."
"She was trying to bring the pain i suffered years ago." Tess cried.
"What are you doing here?" My voice turned rough and fierce.
"Don't believe this slut. She's not worth being your friend. I am. I'm always here for you, Alice."
"No. I'm asking what are you doing here?" Before she could reply me, i snatched the video camera in her hands, only to see that she was recording the process of Tess being raped.
"Diana, how could you?" I said firmly.
"She made me have to call the police to arrest my father. She made fun of me everyday with her friends. We're such best friends years ago. I can't believe that she's gonna snatch you away from me."
"What are you talking about? I never thought of leaving you. You are my best friend. My first friend i've made in Meadows. How could you not trust me? Why did you have to resort to this to Tess?"
"I'm sorry."
"What's your dad's name? Do you have his picture?" I wondered if it was the same guy who almost raped me that night since she said her father was a serial rapist and he was arrested months ago who sounded like that bastard who almost ruined me, also arrested months ago.
"Alice, what are you doing?" Jacob asked. He must have knew what i'm thinking to do. I ignored him as Diana handed me her phone, revealing a familiar guy who shares the same features as Diana.
I cringed the moment i saw his face. That night's incident was vague but i could recognised him.
I started to kneel down and i cried. Jacob immediately rush to my side, knelt down beside me and hugged me tightly. He knew that i'm remembering the details that night.
"Shh shh, baby. It's over. He's in jail now. Don't worry. I'm over here, right beside you." I tried to fought my tears back but i just couldn't.
"Alice, what's wrong?" Tina and Diana both asked curiously.
Jacob answered on my behalf instead.
"She was almost one of your father's victim."
Everyone in the room including Tess gasped loudly. Everyone didn't thought that i would become a victim too. I then lifted my shirt up, revealing the scar to everyone.
"I'm really sorry Alice. I'm sorry. I didn't know he... i'm sorry." Diana broke down in front of me. That night, i felt a burden lifted off my shoulders as i told them my story. I felt that the incident was no longer etched in my mind. It was gone, forever. I'm free now, i don't have to get emotionally worked up now. That night, the police arrived swiftly and Diana was sentenced 4 months imprisonment.
