Hey people. I’ll cut it short on introduction. Well today, 9th August, happy national day (: E.N.J.O.Y !!!!!

That late afternoon, Tina drove me home. We saw a light blue BMW with cool striking blue colour linings on the wheels parking at a lot when Tina parked hers beside. We immediately ran back into the house, wanting to know whose car was that.
“Mom! Dad! Whose car out there?” Tina asked excitedly.
“It’s for Alice.” Dad spoke up. Tina and i screamed excitedly, holding onto each other and jumping up and down. Mom handed the keys to me and allowed me to drive it out for a test. I asked Tina if she wanna be my first passenger. She rejected because she had a date with James. Neither do Dad and Mom as they had to rush for an important meeting as soon as they gave me the keys. Facing the empty living hall with only maids standing around, i immediately went up to my room to change into a grey jacket with a hoodie, skinny jeans and my flats before leaving to try out my new car.
I had been driving down a few streets then i decided to return. Then, i stopped by a park. I saw Jacob, Matthew, Max, Sam and Jack playing basketball of 2 vs 3.
“Matthew, over here!” Jacob shouted, then Matthew tossed the ball to Jacob and they scored. They suddenly stopped playing as they caught a glimpse of me watching them.
“Hey Alice, wanna join us?” A Blondie shouted, i supposed he was Sam as Diana described them to the maximum. I wouldn’t reject because i really do love basketball. I am the best basketball player in the orphanage back then. However, that night, completely changed me from a passionate basketball player to a teenage girl who hated basketball to the core. I wanted to reject but Matthew came over to my side and started pulling me in. They all looked at me, thinking that i’m easy to defeat so they assigned me to be in the same team as Matthew and Jacob.
At the last round (we played a game of 30), we’re leading on the points of 29 to 25. Matthew tossed me the ball, motioning me to score a goal for the group if not i’d be dead. I did as what he told me, mentally. “Goal!” Jacob, Matthew and i screamed in union upon seeing the ball went around and into the net and the disappointment in Sam and Jack’s faces. However, i think i jumped a little too high that i’ve revealed my stomach. I hope nobody saw it as it was ugly. Then we went for a break before leaving. I was alone, sitting in the middle of the court as Matthew, Sam, Jack and Max went opposite to buy drinks.
“Mind explaining what was that?” A voice from behind made me stand up quickly. I came facing Jacob with his anxious eyes.
“What’s wrong?” That’s my answer, i cannot let him know what happened.
“You know what i am referring to.”
“No i don’t.”
“You know i won’t believe you if you’re trying to bullshit me.”
“I seriously have no idea what you’re talking about!” My voice suddenly became a high-pitched but it was a tone consists of nervousness, anger and sadness. I didn’t even tell Tina or Mom or Dad.
“Your stomach. There, i saw a long scar.”
“I... no i’m sure there’s nothing.”
“Do you want me to go there and lift your jacket up to prove that i’m right and you’re wrong?”
This time round, i didn’t reply him. I turned my back facing him and quickly ran home. I could hear him shouting my name from behind. However i did not turn back. I can’t possibly return to the court telling him what really happened that night, that night that i just turned 16. Flashback about that night is replaying in my mind now. It was horrible but i managed to save myself, that’s a good thing. I ran home as tears could be felt rolling down my rosy cheeks.
******** Jacob Meyer’s Point of View ********
There’s something about her i’ve gotta figure out. She’s really different from other girls, i’m sure about that. But what exactly is she hiding? I’m very sure i saw a long scar. Her eyes, they were full of hatred, sadness and hurt. Who was the one who caused the scar? Who’s hurting her? Why did she lie about the scar? Did she tell Uncle and Aunt Stephanie? Did she tell Tina? How am i gonna make her tell me? If she tell me, i’ll protect her. She’s a really a hard chick to crack. By the way, she just ran home leaving her car behing? What a stupid girl is she!
“Hey Jacob, where’s Alice?” Matthew asked.
“Did you scare her off?” Sam asked. I shook my head and immediately ran home.
******** Alice Stephanie’s Point of View ********
When i reached home, i realised i had totally forgotten about my car! Urgh, whatever, i will go retrieved it the next day after school. took a short warm bath and quickly went to bed to take a nap. Suddenly i found myself lying on the cold hard ground of an alley. I recalled myself leaving after having a friendly match with my friends of the orphanage at a basketball court opposite down the street near the orphanage. However, it was getting late and i was the last one to leave the court. I was heading down towards my ‘home’. Suddenly a drunken man came pushing me into a dark alley. When i regained a complete sight of what he was trying do--- taking of his pants, i was shocked. Am i going to be raped soon? I yelped but there was nobody there to help me. He used all his force and started pinning me down and unzipped my jacket. “No! Help! Please don’t! Help!”
